How to Install Google Meet on Amazon Fire Tablet

Google Meet, formerly called Google Hangouts Meet, allows users to start and join video conferences easily and quickly. Even though it was originated from Hangouts, it comes with some unique features. You can also speak and share videos with others from anywhere via the internet. In addition, you can turn their audio and video on/off at any time. To set up and host a Google Meet, you must have a paid G-Suite account. Google Meet is accessible via web, Android, iPhone, and Tablets. Let us discuss how to install and use Google Hangouts Meet on Fire Tablet.

How to Use Google Meet on Fire Tablet

As Google Meet is not available for Fire Tablet via Amazon App Store, you need to install Google Play Store on Fire Tablet. For that, you need to get the following apk files.

  1. Enable Unknown Sources
  2. Download necessary APK files
  3. Install APKs
  4. Download Google Hangouts Meet

Enable Unknown Sources to Install Apps from Third-Party

Fire Tablet doesn’t allow you to download any non-official app, so you need to modify a few changes within the device settings to allow installing files from third-party sources.

[1] On your Fire tablet, click Settings.

[2] Select the Security & Privacy menu.

Download Necessary APK files from Google Play Store

After enabling that, you need to download the necessary APK file from the reputed third-party site. Initially, you have to find the right version of your Fire Tablet to get proper APK files.

To find the version of your device, open Settings > Device options > System Updates.

After knowing your device version, you need to download the necessary APKs using a third-party site like APK Mirror. Here we have listed the download link:

  1. Google Account Manager
  2. Google Services Framework
  3. Google Play Services
  4. Google Play Store

[1] After downloading the necessary files, you have to install them on your Fire Tablet one by one.

[2] Move to the main screen and click Docs.

[3] Select Download and click Local Storage.

[4] Now, you will see the four APKs files. Install each APK file, but make sure to install them in the same order as mentioned above.

[5] Once installation is over, the Google Play Store icon will appear on your Fire Tablet.

[3] You should access the application menu.

[4] Select Install and wait till the process is complete.
