Hulu Announced Price Hikes Effect From October 10

Hulu recently announced the price hike in the subscription plans

Hulu announced a hikes in price of the subscription plans, effective from October 10. Hulu subscription costs will go up from $12.99 to $14.99, and the basic ad-supported plan will move from $6.99 to $7.99 per month and $79.99 per year. In addition, the price of Hulu with Live TV will also increase to $82.99.

Hulu is the cheapest among all streaming services. After increasing the price, the Hulu Service is still affordable for subscribers. Hulu sent emails about the price hike for every subscriber. They increased by only $2 per month.

Due to Hulu price increases, the mini bundle called Disney+ and ESPN+ will also vary. Disney+ price will Jump from $7.99 to $10.99 per month in December. And ESPN + already increased its subscription cost to $9.99 from August 2022.

Like Hulu, Netflix reported that the ad-supported plan would roll out in November. Moreover, the price hikes in Hulu will reach closer to its rival streaming services like HBO Max and Netflix. However, HBO Max costs $9.99/mon (ad-supported) and $14.99/mon (ad-free). Netflix costs $19.99 per month. With price hikes in Hulu, users may switch to alternatives to Hulu.
