AppleCare provides additional coverage and support beyond the standard iPhone warranty, including technical support and hardware coverage for accidental damage. However, if you think your AppleCare subscription is breaking your purse, you can firmly cancel and receive a partial or full refund.
There are different methods available to cancel the AppleCare or AppleCare Plus subscription. You can use any of your Apple devices to cancel the membership. All the possible ways are mentioned below.
How to Cancel AppleCare+ Subscription Using Settings
[1]. Open your iPhone and go to Settings and choose the General option.
[2]. Select the About option from the General menu.
[3]. Then, select AppleCare+ below the serial number.
[4]. Select the Manage Plan button at the bottom.
[5]. Click on the Cancel Renewal button.
[6]. Click Confirm to end the subscription on your iPhone.
How to Cancel AppleCare Subscription From Apple ID
[1]. Open your iPhone and go to Settings.
[2]. Click on Apple ID from the top of the screen.
[3]. Select Subscriptions from the list.
[4]. Now, you will get all active subscriptions.
[5]. Select the AppleCare+ subscription from the list.
[6]. Click Cancel Subscription to confirm your selection.
[7]. The monthly or yearly subscription will be canceled and removed from the Subscriptions list.
How to Cancel AppleCare Subscription on Mac
[1]. Open your Mac and go to the App Store.
[2]. Sign in to your account and choose your name from the top.
[3]. Select Account Settings and scroll down to Subscription.
[4]. Click on the Manage button.
[5]. Then, tap on Cancel Subscription next to the AppleCare plan.
[6]. Confirm the cancellation on the pop-up.
How to Cancel AppleCare Subscription on Windows PC
You can also cancel your AppleCare Subscription on Windows, but you have to install iTunes on your device.
[1]. On your Windows PC, open the iTunes application. If you don’t have the app, install the iTunes app on Windows from the Apple website or Microsoft Store.
[2]. From the iTunes menu bar, click on Account.
[3]. Select the View My Account button.
[4]. Sign in if it asks and scroll down to the Settings menu.
[4] Choose the Subscriptions option and tap on the Manage option.
[5]. Choose the AppleCare plan and click the Edit button next to it.
[6]. Click the Cancel Subscription to remove it from the list.
Note: The monthly plans are available only in the selected countries.
Other Ways to Cancel AppleCare Membership
If you want, you can go through the old-fashioned way to cancel the membership. You can post a letter to the AppleCare office requesting to cancel your subscription.

The chances of errors in these mediums are high. We personally won’t recommend these offline methods.
How to Request a Refund For AppleCare Subscription
If you have paid for your plan and trying to cancel it, don’t worry, you can still cancel and get a full or partial refund.
[1]. Visit Apple’s refund report website.
[2]. Sign in with your Apple ID.
[3]. Click the drop-down menu and choose the Request a refund option.
[4]. Now, choose the reason that you want and click the Next button.
[5]. If you are eligible for a refund, your AppleCare subscription will be listed. If not, you will get a screen similar to the one mentioned below.
[6]. Choose the AppleCare option, if displayed.
[7]. Based on the usage and date of purchase, you will get a refund from Apple.
If you cancel within 30 days of your purchase, you will get a full refund. But if you have received any service under your plan, you’ll get only a partial refund and Apple will deduct its cancellation fee. If you cancel after 30 days of your purchase, you’ll receive only a partial refund.
